From relay-based signalling systems to fully electronic protection with intelligent monitoring.
Modernisation over 30 years
As in many other cases, many older systems are still in operation, including on private railways. Rosenfelt & West has replaced and modernised more than 300 level crossings since 1998. Initially for the Danish Road Directorate, and now for Banedanmark.
Intelligent monitoring
Further upgrades will follow, as the need remains. Today, we continuously modernise level crossing systems with the fully electronic BUES 2000, featuring intelligent monitoring from the German company Scheidt & Bachmann. Most recently, we designed and installed 10 new level crossing systems on the West Line.
